I He just loves the internet. Yes, it consumes too much of my time. Yes, I have a tendency to doomscroll. Yeah, sometimes it makes me feel bad about myself. But most of all it brings me absolute joy. Not a day would go by without me laughing hilariously at some Instagram or TikTok post that I share with everyone. And now I’m super happy to share some of my absolute favorites with you all too.
1. French and Saunders make Mamma Mia
When I was a kid, I used to record French and Saunders from TV and watch them over and over and over. They are my comedy heroes. These days, I watched his videos on Youtube probably once a month. And they still hold! Here they are doing a parody of Mamma Mia.
2. Niki the chihuahua
My algorithm is very heavy for cats and dogs. This is one of my favorites. It’s a simple premise: a Chihuahua with anger issues is constantly picked on by his owner. But don’t worry, animal lovers: there are also plenty of clips of them being friends.
3. Benny’s drama
My favorite type of comedy is observational and Benny Drama aka Benito Skinner does it very well. Her character, Jenni, is a hairstylist and makeup artist, and she watches it perfectly. I know women like that! Every time I watch one of your videos I wish I had thought of the idea first!
4. Grace Kuhlenschmidt
Another great comedienne that I love is Grace Kuhlenschmidt. The comedy of hers is a bit off the beaten path and can definitely make you squirm. But it’s so true. I also love that she gets mad at seriousness, that she should always get mad at her.
5. Raddad on Instagram
One of my favorite characters to play is “Dad Boomer” and i get a lot of inspiration from this page. It’s a collection of memes and videos about grilling meat, making fun of holes in jeans, and all the other fun things about being a middle-aged dad.
6. Joseph Moore
This New Zealand comedian continues to deliver his hilarious tweets. I often think “damn he’s smart” while laughing. His mockery of people and life is absolutely spot on.
7. Cosmic Force: How People Drive in Movies
Cosmic Force is a new comedy duo. I first found them when this video entered my algorithm. I love it because it’s so fucking true! And they commit to the gag for centuries.
8. End of Harris’s Singing Animals
This is such a simple yet brilliant concept: Dulo takes existing videos (mostly of animals interacting) and then does a voiceover as if they are speaking (or singing). Adds a wonderful new level to comedy. And it’s so good over time!
9. Miss Kitten Raspberry
I first discovered Miss Raspberry in a book that only contained pictures of cats that were high on catnip. I immediately fell in love with the extremely protruding jaw of hers. You can imagine my absolute joy when I found out that she had an Instagram page! I just need to look at her and I laugh. (With absolute love.)
10. Chris Parker
One of my favorite comedians. He is incredibly perceptive at finding the joke in almost anything. His observations are spot on.
