  2. Play Privacy
  3. Play permissions manager
  4. Tap each app one at a time and decide what each app should have “allowed”.

If you have an Android device older than 2015, it may not have already come encrypted. This means that your data could be compromised and you will want to turn this setting on manually.

  1. open your settings
  2. Play Security
  3. Play Advanced
  4. Play Encryption and Credentials
  5. If your phone isn’t already, you’ll see the option to tap encrypt phone (This may take some time)

Safe Browsing helps monitor websites as you browse the Internet and can help identify if you come across an unsafe website, link, or advertisement. You may get a warning like this one, telling you that the website you tried to access is not safe:

  1. Open the Google Chrome app on your android
  2. Play Plus with the three points
  3. Play settings
  4. Play Privacy & Security
  5. Play Secure browsing
  6. You can then choose the level of “Safe Browsing” you want to use: enhanced protection, standard protection (we recommend this, so you can choose whether or not to send information to Google), or no protection

Activate “Do Not Track”

Android phones allow you to send a request to the websites you visit asking them not to track you while using google chrome. It is important to note that asking them not to request or track your data does not guarantee this, as a website can still choose to track your information. However, it is better than not requesting it, as some websites will accept this request.

  1. Open the Google Chrome app on your android
  2. Play Plus with the three points
  3. Play settings
  4. Play Privacy & Security
  5. Play do not track
  6. Turn on the setting to request that sites don’t track you
